Day 1 DEPARTURE FROM DELHI BY VOLVO
Over Night Journey from Delhi to Manali by Volvo (Tickets provided by ETR)
Day 2 ARRIVAL MANALI, GEAR CHECKUP
We board the awaiting Volvo coaches and take an overnight ride to Manali. Upon arrival, a traditional welcome followed by introduction with the Tour leader, followed by allotment of rooms, followed by a safety & rescue session by a professional. Evening welcomes you to a campfire, followed by a tour briefing and some flagship celebrations followed by dinner.
Day 3 MANALI TO JISPA
You wake up early in the morning, after breakfast we allot the participants their respective bikes etc. to ride towards the world’s highest Motorable road – the Manali-Leh highway. As soon as you leave Manali, the climb for the 13,051 feet high Rohtang Pass starts. After Rohtang, the road descends into the Chandra valley, passing through Khoksar and on to jispa.
Day 4 JISPA TO SARCHU/PANG
Today you ride from the lush green landscape to the stark moonscape which Ladakh is famous for. A very scenic passing through small lakes, waterfalls and streams. Undoubtedly the best stretch on the Manali-Leh highway, this section of the Manali-Leh highway will feel as if you’re on a roller coaster ride climbing up and down from one Himalayan pass to another. You ride up and down three high altitude passes, Baralacha-la Lachlung -La (16,616 feet), Nakee-La (15,547 feet)
Day 5 SARCHU/PANG TO LEH
After breakfast we start our ride toward Leh then will have stay in Hotel. Post breakfast we start our trip towards Leh. On this day of your ride, You shall come across 22 hairpin bands known as gataloops, After crossing Naki-La (16,000s feet) Lachung-La (16,053 feet), En route you will enjoy beautiful landscape of more plains and tanglang la pass (the second highest pass in the world), and will reach leh by evening. . Explore Leh local market on this day. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6 LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY
Today, you take the road to the highest motorable pass in the world – Khardung-La – at 18,380 feet. In spite of the altitude, today you ride on some of the smoothest roads so far and the landscape also becomes grand. After celeb rating at Khardung-La pass, you descend into the dramatically different landscape of the Nubra valley.
Day 7 NUBRA TO TURTUK
Today you will ride towards the Indo-pak border which is located in the outskirts of turtuk village. Turtuk was under Pakistan’s control until 1971 indo-pak war, after which India gained control of this strategic area. Turtuk has last post office towards indo-pak border.
Day 8 TURTUK/NUBRA TO PANGONG LAKE
Today we will be taking one of the most uncommon route in Ladakh area via Shayok village which was open recently for the tourist. While riding you will defiantly enjoy the scenic view of mountains and this route is also known for water streams. Will reach at evening at Most famous part of Ladakh Pangong Lake. Enjoy Sunset seating near Pangong Lake. Overnight stay in camp.
Day 9 PANGONG LAKE TO LEH
Have breakfast and spend some time at gorgeous Pangong Lake. After talking in the magnificent views of Pangong Lake, You will be heading back to Leh, on the way Leh. On the way to Leh, You will be crossing Chang La which is also known for several hot water streams. We arrive in Leh by the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 10 LEH TO KARGIL
After Breakfast leave for Kargil, en -route visit Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill and Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain and enjoy the view of Moon Landscape, Over Night stay In Kargil. (Passes to cover Namki –La, Fotu-La which is around 13,000 feet)
Day 11 KARGIL TO SONAMARG
After breakfast leave for Sonamarg by crossing famous Zojila pass, Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabited place in the World), in-route have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger hill, Tololing, etc.) from Vijay war memorial hall site, reach Sonamarg by evening. Overnight stay at Sonamarg.
Day 12 SONAMARG TO SRINAGAR
After having breakfast, you will be provided a drop facility to Srinagar airport. Bye -bye from an adrenalin rush holiday are never easy but on the positive note, we can always hope for a revisit. Let’s be optimistic!
